Micro Sizers
You Know, Making small airplanes is not easy still I wont give up easely, take a look at my first tests:
The bipe is 20 cm wingspan was the only one tested with rc on.
I believe that it would fly level with a lighter battery... whith the one I USED (A 150 MH CELL) the plane could only fly in straight line, on turns it imediatly loose altitude.
The real weight of this proto I really don´t know but should be something around 15 grams
the demoiselle is bigger, about 30 cm wingspan, flew well (very well and slow) with only a ballast to balance the c.g.
the bleriot XI is a tiny model, less than 20 cm span and because it is a monoplane I didn´t even tried to put the rc gear on it..on free flight performed poorly... It had to fly fast in order to keep altitude...
The rc gear I used was:
bit car rx and tx (no fets)
150 mha lipo cell (single)
didel 7mm
direct drive 6mm (short can motor)
the props you can see on the photos since I don´t know the brand or type of them
and that´s it.
Next plane will probably be the demoiselle but, instead of the carbon rods airframe I´ll make a carbon fiber monocoque and the wings will be milar covered...lets see
Tiger Moth
This is a tiger moth
60 cm wingspan
80 gr AUW
motor n20
batt lipo350
esc 5 amp
rx hitec feather - striped...welded wires
I´ve made a takeoff test and it tookoff on about 2 meters!
I guess it will fly great...
